Deathproof
This is a TV spot I edited for the International Release of Deathproof. Domestically, this movie was released as a double feature with Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror. The double feature, Called “Grindhouse” did not do very well at the box office due to the lengthy running time and “R” rating.
The Hillary Clinton Democratic National Convention Video
I co-edited this tribute video to Hillary Clinton for The 2007 Democratic National Convention In Colorado. It was after she had lost to Barrack Obama and her goal was to convince her supporters to vote for Obama and support the Democratic party. The video played on national television right before her speech.
TRAIN
Train is basically SAW but on a teen tour through Europe. A lot of torture, blood and guts. This was difficult to edit because this is not my type of movie, I don’ really have the stomach for it.
SICKO
Sicko is a Michael Moore Documentary about the Health Care Industry in America and in other Countries. A producer/writer was inspired by the movie “Shaft” to create a spot similar to the tone of that movie, except making Michael Moore into the main character.
The Nike Promo Starring QuestLove from “The Roots”
Up until this point, I had done mainly TV spots and Trailers, so a promo ad for a new sneaker was really fun to work on. I had no idea who Questlove was, but by the end I had come to really like his laid back attitude and sense of humor. The actual interviews can be seen on Nike’s website.
No Reservations
I worked on the DVD advertisements for No Reservations starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart. The movie was actually very good. It was a romantic comedy that had some very serious parts as well as some great performances.
The Assassination Of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford
This movie is really good, if not a little long. Great performances and everything felt very authentic. This is worth seeing if you are a Brad Pitt fan, or a fan of Westerns.
